Nijhum Dwip’ means the island of tranquility,the perfect name for this island.The very quite and serene environment of this island really heals any heart that is hurt,any boredom that seems incurable.If you don’t believe this then taste it own.It’s really an amazing experience to visit such a place.Nijhum Dip- is an offshore island in the Bay of Bengal situated in the extreme south of Hatia island which is separated by Hatia channel.

Hatia including Nijhum dip was concealed by water for many years.Then the surface of the islands began to rise at 1972 and forest department started to plantation here.Actually Hatia is the combination of many small islands and Nijhum dip is one of them.The mangrove forest,spotted deer and their friend monkeys,snakes,about 35 species of bird are the main attraction of this land .

Itinerary of Chittagong City Day Tour:

Day 1: A relaxed over night journey.

Tour will start from Shadarghat launch terminal at 5 pm. Tourists can enjoy the scenic beauty of rivers of Bangladesh under the moonlight.

Day 2: Reaching out Nijhum Dwip

Arrival in Hatia at 8:30 am. After breakfast start for Nijhum Dwip. Around 12:30 pm. upon arrival at Nijhum Dwip we shall “check-in Parjatan/Abakash”. After lunch, we shall go to watch the spotted deer, which are the main attraction of the island. If you love the nature and sea, you can pass the evening setting aroung the white sandy beach near by. At night, you will have a Bar-B-Q dinner at night.

Day 3: Exploring and Adventure

After early breakfast, the guide will offer you a silent boat trip by a country boat through narrowed creeks to observe the wildlife including deer and collecting honey. At the evening tourist will be given some private time to relax either in the hotel or in the sandy beach to enjoy amazing beauty of the sunset.

Day 4: Returning Back Home by over night launch journey

After breakfast, start for Hatia, on arrival you will board the launch for Dhaka. Lunch, evening snacks & dinner will serve in the launch.
