08 Days Trip: Explore the heritage, culture and Nature of bangladesh (DV-16)

Day 1: Arrival and Hotel Check-in

  • After your arrival, our representative will meet up at airport and will transfer you to Hotel. You will check-in and relax on the day. Our guide will accompany you and help you to roam you around.
  • Overnight Stay: Dhaka

Day 2: Dhaka and City Tour

  • After breakfast, you will explore the heritage, culture and history of Dhaka city on the very last day of the tour. Starting in the morning, you will be taken to all the top tourist attractions of Dhaka, covering Parliament house, Dhaka University area, Dhakweswari Temple, Lalbug Fort.
  • If you love food, you may experience Dhakaya Beriyany in the lunch and also will keep exploring the long list of Street Food along the way. After lunch, the guide will route you through tiny allays of old Dhaka to explore Star Mosque, Armenian Church and Pink Palace. In the evening, you will visit shadarghar area to check of the rush culture around river port of Bangladesh. In the late evening, we will get back to Dhaka.
  • Overnight Stay: Dhaka

Day 3: Train Journey to Srimangal and Life around Tea Gardens

  • Today we will start for Srimangal after breakfast. From there, we will embark on our journey to Sreemangal, a charming town renowned for its tea gardens and vibrant tribal communities. The distance from Dhaka to Sreemangal spans approximately 200 kilometers, which we will cover in approximately 5 hours by bus, or a reserved AC car.
  • Upon reaching Sreemangal, you will check in to your chosen accommodation, be it a hotel, resort, or cozy cottage. Take some time to freshen up before we head out for lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, our exploration of Sreemangal begins.
  • Our first stop will be the Monipuri tribal community, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness traditional cloth weaving firsthand. Next, we’ll visit the tea workers’ community, also known as a tribal community. Take a leisurely stroll through the lush tea gardens, soaking in the serene atmosphere and perhaps even paying a visit to their temple. No visit to Sreemangal would be complete without trying the famous seven-layer tea, a specialty beverage first invented in this region.
  • Before concluding our day, we’ll explore a nearby rubber garden, where you can learn about the cultivation process and take a leisurely walk amidst the fragrant foliage. After a full day of exploration, we’ll retire to our accommodation for a restful night’s sleep, ready to continue our adventure in Sreemangal the following day.
  • Overnight Stay: Srimangal

Day 4: Exploring Wild Life in Lawachara Forest

  • After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we will arrange a cycle to move around a find the contrast of life and local culture, the life of tea garden workers totally differs with other local community as as the life of monipuri people. We will visit to a Khasia tribal village nestled within the forest that you will find end of your trail. This matriarchal community relies primarily on betel leaf cultivation for their livelihood. Take the opportunity to observe their unique lifestyle and immerse yourself in their cultural traditions.
  • Our journey continues with a visit to local fruit gardens, including a lemon garden, where you can sample some of the region’s fresh produce.
  • After a satisfying lunch in town, we will drive to Comillah reaching there after 3 hrs.
  • Overnight Stay: Comilla

Day 5: Explore Buddhist Heritage Sites on the way to Chittagong

  • After breakfast, you will drive using the main highway of the country towards Chittagong. On the way, you will step in to oldest Buddhist ruins known as Mainamoti. Mainamoti, the kingdom was flourished during the 8th AD and a lot of Buddhist monasteries were built during that period under state supervision.
  • You will visit the Salbon Vihara Museum, and other sites like Itakhola mura, Rupban Mura in Comilla.
  • In the evening, you will get entry to Chittagong, the second biggest city in Bangladesh.
  • Overnight: Chittagong

Day 6: Chittagong City Tour

  • After breakfast we will Visit the second biggest city in Bangladesh and a lively port City. You will explore the top tourist attractions in Chittagong, such as war cemetery of World War II, ISKCON Temple, a kind on unusual ritual where people feed old turtles and prays, dry fish market (if you are interested).
  • As Chittagong is a historic city having establishment of colonial period, you will explore the British establishment around the city such as old railway station, court building areas. After lunch, you will visit to Vatiary ship scrape shops where you will find huge recycling activities to decompose big ships.
  • Afterwards, you will be driven to Cox’s bazar.
  • Overnight: Cox’s Bazar

Day 7: Beach life at Cox’s Bazar, the longest unbroken sea beach in the world

  • In the morning you can jump off early from the bed and explore the beach area. At around 11 AM you will start to explore around the longest beach in the world. You will explore the life around the beach, himchori point of Cox’s Bazar. Along the road you will find the fisherman returning to shore and ride on their moon boat to take some shapes. Near town, you can step in to old temple and also the Laboni market point area where most of the local tourist resides. You will come across experience the life of local people, their culture and nature of most popular local tourist destination of Bangladesh.
  • The evening you will fly back to Dhaka.
  • Overnight Stay: Dhaka

Day 8: Panam City tour and Airport Drop

  • After breakfast, we will Visit Old Capital of Panam City and Sonargaon, if time permits (Depending on your flight schedule), we will stop at Sonargaon and Panam City where you can experience the rich heritage of before of Bengal.
  • Afterwards, you will be dropped at airport.
  • Overnight Stay: N/A
